Bill Fincher for
Cherokee County

Dear Friend,

“I’m running because I’ve spent my entire career protecting Georgia families and standing up for what’s right. I was born and raised here in Cherokee County, this is home. I’ve served as an FBI agent, a prosecutor, and a community leader, and I know how to bring people together to solve problems. I’m not a politician, I’m a public servant and consensus builder. I want to make it easier for families to live, work, and stay in this community by lowering insurance costs, stabilizing property taxes, and keeping the government small and accountable. My goal is simple: to make sure Cherokee County stays a place where families can thrive and the American Dream is still within reach.

I have spent my career upholding the law, managing budgets, and serving the people of Georgia with integrity. Now I am running to make sure our state government does the same by protecting taxpayers, defending freedom, and keeping Cherokee County the best place to live, work, and raise a family.

I was born and raised here in Cherokee County, this is home. I’ve served as an FBI agent, a prosecutor, and a community leader, and I know how to bring people together to solve problems. I’m not a politician, I’m a public servant and consensus builder.”

Together we can keep Cherokee County Great!

Sincerely,

Bill Fincher’s Commitment to District 23

Principles and Priorities Shaping Our Community

Discover the core values and guiding principles that drive Bill Fincher’s vision for Cherokee County’s District 23. Each feature reflects a steadfast commitment to addressing local issues, fostering community engagement, and building a brighter future together.

Protect our Quality of Life

Bill Fincher will work with the Cherokee County legislative delegation to protect the quality of life that makes this community one of the best places to live in Georgia.

Cut Waste and Cap Property Taxes

Bill believes no Georgian should be taxed out of the home they have already paid for. He will fight to cap the constant rise in property taxes that results from inflated valuations, which often bear no connection to a homeowner’s actual income or realized value. Bill spent decades applying Georgia laws in courtrooms. He knows how to craft legislation that works, avoids costly legal challenges, and protects taxpayers from waste.

Tackle Rising Costs

Bill will lead efforts to lower insurance rates for homeowners, drivers, small businesses, and families facing high healthcare premiums. He supports market-based reforms that increase transparency, expand competition, and curb frivolous lawsuits that drive up costs, restoring fairness while keeping Georgia the number one place to do business.
